Polished, Reflective showroom floor ?
Hi All, I'm new here!
I've seen in many renders that folks have made of cars and so on where the object in question is sitting on a sorta whitish, polished, semi-reflective showroom or studio floor. Can someone please give me a super quick tutorial or rundown on how to create such a setup, I think it's mainly the floor material I need help with? I wanna make a basic studio scene that I could merge into my current and future scenes so that I can make nice, consistent renders. Many Thanks Hansanter |

if your using Max....then you use a raytraced material...
it has the reflection settings on it. basically black to white....black being no reflection...and white being full reflection. |

Apologies, I should have said I'm using 3DS 5. So a raytraced material has a facility to set the black/white ? OK, I'll go and look for this in max. Many Thanks.
