We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in PC or console graphics programming who is adept at high and low-level effects programming with knowledge/experience of C++ maths. A Core Technology Manager (Ref: EG11). Reporting directly to and working closely with the technical director to formulate aims and objectives in-line with business requirements, the postholder will be responsible for planning and managing current and forthcoming core engine technology tasks in conjunction with the core engine technology team to ensure that the needs of the project teams are effectively supported. A natural leader and a good team player when needed, candidates will need to possess well-developed planning and organisational skills, programming knowledge and strategic awareness. Previous project management experience is desirable but not essential, as is games development experience. Level/Gameplay Designers (Ref: BT3) with a keen interest in a wide variety of game genres and games in general and an intuitive awareness of what constitutes good gameplay design. For this role, you will need to have a basic level of knowledge of 3D modelling (Max or Maya) for creation of prototype levels together with a basic level of knowledge of programming/scripting concepts for creation of scripts. You must also be able to demonstrate design work (finished playable levels). Good inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and accurate manner are also pre-requisites. 3D Artists (Ref: BT4), with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Maya or Max and an intermediate to advanced level of knowledge of Photoshop, required to produce graphic art in-line with project requirements.
