Hi Andy,

No problem - I keep notes on my models since the watch challenge.........

vertabrae: 10 mins (poly cube extruded face and only half)+ 2 min duplication along coordinates with transform and scale attributes + 5 min manually tweeking random vertices.

Bone 1 "undercarriage": 10 - mins (poly cube extruded face) + 5 mins tweeking and duplicating

Bone 2 "handle": 2 mins - same bone as #1, but with an extra extruded face to get the leg joint.

Bone 3 "wheel": 2 mins - same bone as #1, just scaled down + 2 mins duplicated using coordinates rotate and transform.

Rib: 10 - mins one curve duplicated 11 times and scaled down then attached using vertice snap. The poly face extrude along curve (poly face from vertabrae).

Last 12 min: poly combine (vertabe and ribs); mirror geometry (vertabrae & ribs); select all; poly smooth 3 - 4 times (can't check, as I have erased my history).

und ferti.........

it's not any more impressive than some of those mp3 players from the last challenge with all of those gears and violins and stuff.

Also maybe you can tell, but I do like skeletons and I model them quite often - these bones are made extra for this challenge as I need the practice. I also have a wonderful book on anatomy called "Anatomische Zeichenschule" (German) "Anatomy Drawing Class " rough translation.

If Andy thinks a model needs explaining...let it ride. Andy is in charge...plus Diabolos was on the chopping block before because of cheating.

Thank you - Andy, I do treat these challenges with as much fun and as much seriousness - after all you are like a "client" and who knows maybe I will be doing this for a living someday and have the same kind of deadlines and timelines. i am already thinking up a third idea (I have the day off today).

Mr. Brown - Do you model anything or do you just spew out comments? I mean you must be really good ?!

I really must break my own silence and say something to you black.
I have not been here very long, and only participated in... how many, three, four challenges? But in that short time I realised, just a few minutes after my first glance at the forums really, that you were an essential part of this whole concept, and you leaving really isn't anything to look lightly upon.
So I am very happy, both for you and ourselves, that you are not forever-gone
I could say congratulations, but that sounds wrong here...
Great to have you... ummm back? or something similiar. Positive things at least

And one more thing:
What exactly will you do? Just spam around?
Or perhaps help andy out with the judging?
Or just banning people to death!

On a totally different note;
_VERY_ ...u mmm... different subject this week andy!

Black;

I overReacted - sorry - it's the nickname in me...........

mimi01 - thank you - i like your traditional 'barrow.

inspired - cool - i would like to see that shaded or textured.

3Dtotal mod; what are the rules about props - I wanted to park my bonebarrow on a pile of skulls, but the skulls would have been from my library and not modeled extra for this challenge -there would have been no time - i barley finished the wheelbarrow.

Really nice topic, andy.

Please give me some critics, because then I can try to make my model look better...
Thanks for your advice
