Maya - Fog Container
Im trying to create a fog container using volumetric "texture", I did have some nice results, but those where pure luck. I erased the file by accident.
Now, If some body can help me, the thing is that I want to have like a volumetric container for fog, so I can place a fractal texture inside creating something like voxels but in a simple way. My scene is inside the body, is going to be a fly by, but I need to place some "ambient noise" like little dust. Im using maya 6.5 and the paint effects is just helping for some little rounded particles with glow. The space-cloud-voyage like is what Im interested in. Please help.

The effects you see on Voyager and simiallar are actually particals.
Do you want to learn how to do those? Or do you want to learn how you could make a volumetric 'fog' that would be vivid in the rendring?
