Question Wheels

Hello there. Over the last day or two i've been creating an ATV-like vehicle for UT2004, and im wondering If I need to have the wheels attatched to the ATV, or do they need to be seperate(for animating) Im somewhat new to 3ds6, i've been playing with it for about 6 months now so i dont really know everything quite yet.
hopefully my question has made sense
Thanks, any help is appreciated.

i haven't tried making a ut2k4 vehicle in max yet (i'm working on a level at the moment tho) but I found this tutorial at frag-ops. it looks like it runs thru the whole rigging and importing process
http://forum.frag-ops.com/viewtopic.php?t=3445

you'll probably need to make sure you have conText as well for editing some of the code
http://www.context.cx/

hope this helps
