hmm, Maxon Competition?
OK so the forums have been updated and now the Maxon Competition section has completely vanished without a a word of the results
Excuse my french but this is a complete **** take, many members spent a lot of time working on this competition and we never heard of the result, The competition ended many months ago and whenever we questioned what was going on Andy_K-3DT would reply saying it has been very busy but the results are coming soon Dont get me wrong i didn't expect to win myself, infact from what i could see Mattin was the favourite, but we were all expecting the official results which were supposed to be judged by Maxon staff but it just never happend Maybe there was a winner and i just compeletely missed it i think threedy owes it to its member who took part to clarify the situation Thanks, Ric

Hi after looking through our backup date and through the Maxon Comp thread, we are unable to find the list of winners, it must have been deleted. Sorry for the inconvenience

I also never saw the result although I was twice a week here, but if you say it.... I think it's a bit sadly...

We spent a long time organising this comp for you, getting prizes, paying staff to run it, which we did rather well by moderating it, giving advice, answering questions etc and posing the results we rarely get any thanks and its a shame when we get comments like Excuse my french but this is a complete **** take

well i would like to take a poll out of the ten final entrants and just see how many of them were actually aware of the final results
i dont think it was very well orchestrated at all Roadrunner didnt hear about it either and from what i could see it was likely that he would come in the top 3, he said he was checking twice a week, i was also, the results were definately not posted in the maxon forum section or we would have seen them, if they were they were probably up for a day at the most before the site went down you cant promise something and not deliver all i ask is for the results to be published once again and i will be thankful to you

I'm sorry the results seem to have "gone astray" - I will repost them here again tomorrow when I've dug out all the info off my other PC
As Tom said, I'm sure we posted them but thee is no harm in doing it again Andy |

ok, it seems that due to numerous factors we have mislaid the results post.
Apologies to all concerned, Please bear in mind with me whilst i search for all of the details on the backup disks I have here. Meantime (in the following posts) here are the first secon and third place results. I know Mattin has received his prize, if the others haven't, then please contact me as soon as possible and we'll get this all sorted out. The standard of entries was great, In the end Mattin's entry proved immensely popular both with the judges and the other entrants. The voting was close for the remaining places with less than 10 votes seperating all of you. I'll post the exact results once we find the archive Andy |

once again, congratulations to all those who entered, once we've dug out all the archives we'll add any more details that are missing from here.
Once again, Daniel or Fraisse if you haven't received your prizes yet. Please let me know and we'll get on the case Andy |
