3ds max I need help with biped?
I was wondering can u move the finger joints away from the palmand it still work correctly???
If anyone knows alot about biped please let me know below I need some other questions awnsered :-) |

Well when u first start posing your biped inside your mesh the fingers of the biped are right next to the palm piece of the biped if not inside it, it seems. All I am asking is:
Can u move the fingers and joints away from the palm piece and it still function correctly. Lets say with motion capture ect? |

Now I may be wrong, as I've never tried this exactly. If it allows you to move the bones away form the palm piece, then the palm will probably still be the fingers pivot point. I guess it would have the same effect as scaling the bone.

Yes, it is possible to move the biped fingers away from the biped’s palm. Grab all the joints in a single finger and move or rotate where you like. The fingers will always be linked to the palm and still be able to function correctly.

...correct, just make sure your biped is in Figuer Mode when you attempt this
