Unhappy 3dsMAX 6 Render window while rendering...

Hey guys i was just wondering, i'm currently rendering this huge pic and i accidentally closed the render window.. and i really want to see where i'm up to and what has been rendered etc - i acnt see any way of getting the window back up because i'm still rendering. I dont want to restart the render because its been going for 4 hours now....

if you could help, any help is wonderful

Don`t think it`s possible....once the window is closeed it`s gone.
What you could do..is cancel the current render..save that file as targa.
Restart a new render with a region setting....and render the parts that haven`t been rendered yet from the first render.....save as targa again...then composite the two images.
But as far as checking your current render.....I don`t think you can bring back the vfb window once it`s closed out.

yes.....but you have to cancel your current render for that option to work.
Show last render will only show a render that has been canceled or that has run it`s course to completion.

i have a similar gripe, now when i render the actual progress bar (the one with the cancel button) doesnt show up. meaning i have to wait for the render to finish before i can change settings

as for that thing, its not good practise to render everything at once anyway try hiding objects and rendering a few at a time then compositing them later
