about unwrap texturing in max

hello,

i modeled a chicken character, the i textured also. but i'm not satisfied in that texture. i like to texture that character with the help of unwrap texturing. so plz kindly help me what is the process of unwrap texturing.i'm expecting your reply as soon as.

the 3d total tutorial section has lots of tutorials on unwrap texturing, in 3d studio max,
