Well not always..
In many occasions have I come across scenes the model is set into. And the contestant has usually just screen captured the whole thing. while posting the wire.
So what shall be done is the related items shall be presumed to be the models entered.

I would strongly advise that you use all your time and energy in creating the best you can of your individual model. But shall you continue to speed model the props aswell. It would be wise to inform us about it. This is not a rule, it is just a little something for your own good if you have worked such.

Does that make it a bit more clear FastRak?

Thanks Black
I'm pretty sure I knew what you meant, but I thought that maybe some others members here might benefit from your explaination as well.

Thankyou. Yes, the set actually exists. I thought it was pretty neat.

Entry #4

1950's Eagle Toys Table Hockey!
The players don't move around like the modern versions, they just spin in place. I took some liberties using the NHL logos, some of the teams on my model weren't around then. I had to use Mental Ray, which I'm not familiar with, because my wire material for the net would only render solid in vray...if anyone has a hint....
Anyway, hope ya'll like the classic table game

oops...almost forgot....table on which the game is played is not included in the modeling time

info is on the pic.

Great going guys. I have a few more ideas up my sleeve... unfortunately my first 3 ideas were very traditional. For now... here's number 1!

Edit: No one told me that my White Queen and King were in the wrong positions... I thought something looked funny... but it's been so long since I've played that I just wasn't sure. It's fixed now.

3D Studio Max 6 and Silo, 1hr 20m modelling (whole scene), 10 min render: (Originally a 35 min render... I made some material setting changes and reduced the time dramatically.)

Thumbs up

First, congrats to everybody. Great entries from what my 56K modem allowed me to watch!

I see Marty_McFly makes honour to the McFly family (the knight of your chess game looks fab by the way!) so I will try not to fail.

Here is my entry. It is the Laughing Pig game. You throw 3 dice: get a 6 and you get the body of the pig and an ace allows you to add one "member" (leg, eye, ear) and you need two aces to get the tail.

Pretty fun when I was 5.

Just out of curiosity... what is that? (A sort of snooker board game that you drop the peaces to the corners?)

Very good entries from all of you... it's going great guys!

well its a board game where a max of 4 players can play there are 9 black pieces + 9 beige pieces and a deep pink piece ( THE QUEEN ) and a white piece ( THE STRIKER ) . when playin singles ... 2 players sit on either end , the board placed on the floor or a higher level .. all pieces are grouped together in the circle u see at the board center with the rabid queen in the center ... one player takes the STRIKER breaks the group ( by lettin go of his middle or index finger held back for a more powerful break ) and if for eg :the black is pocketed .. he has to play black throughout and finish em all off ... now in order to pocket the queen which is like 5 points ( i guess ) a player has to drop the queen followed by his coloured piece... failure to do so will bring the Queen to the center of the circle . foul by one player leaves the other with 2 chances irrespective of whether he pockets or not . a carrom board is made of wood ... and the 4 pockets have a loose net under em . thats all the game is about ... its a lotta fun .

here's a better explaination
