Question Quick question please?

Hello to all,

I was wondering if there was a way to perform Vertex Bake in Maya 6.0, like what BoBo shows in his tut on his site. Bobo performs this in 3DS Max, and I was wondering if I can do the same in Maya and how. Here is the link to BoBo's site to illustrate what I'm talking about.
