3D World magazine, the world’s only monthly magazine about 3D art, animation and technology, covering everything from special effects to game design, from anime to architecture has openings for a Staff Writer and Deputy Editor.

Staff Writer

For this entry-level position on the magazine you will be writing up to 25 pages per issue, including news, interviews and articles. You will assist with the day-to-day running of the magazine as well as representing us at trade shows, festivals and studio visits. While both previous journalistic experience and hands-on experience of 3D software would be an advantage, the most important requirements are excellent writing skills and a willingness to learn quickly. For the right candidate, this role will grow with them and allow them to expend their areas of responsibility over time.

Deputy Editor

As Deputy Editor you will play a key part in driving forward the development of 3D World, being responsible for at least two sections of the magazine. Additionally you will deputise for the Editor in his absence and help manage junior staff, ensuring the smooth running of the title. While knowledge of the 3D industry and 3D technology would be advantageous, previous magazine editorial experience is essential for this role.
