water splashing to the camera (Maya - Max )
Hi, any sugestions over making water splash to the camera?
a bowllingball is supose to fall to the water, send water flying to the lens, then, the water going down the lens is going to be use lika a transition for a logo. How do you make particles stick to an object? |

Pretty easy in max, I would create a deflector that would be the "camera lens" and give it a 1 degree slant. Then use a super spray with metablobs(aka MetaParticles), give the deflector a high friction value so the blobs dont run off. Should work pretty decent.

great ideea, DeadlyFreeze... I've gotta try it too...
Metaparticles are tricky, very memory demanding if you make them look good enough, though they get the job done. ![]()
