Transform one model into another

I'm using Max 7.

Lets say i have two models, an eagle and an aircraft. I have to do an animation where the eagle transforms into the aircraft. The thing is I have no idea how to do this transformation. Can I do it in Max 7, or I have to do it in video post (another software) ?

Hope somebody can help me wih this one.

Thanks.

3dsmax has morpher, but it won't work for your example ( the object morphing must have the same number of polys as its target ) ... I think you need to think of another software for this.

You'll probably get very good results with the morpher plug in that ships with combustion 3.

You can set a morph target to an enveloping deformer primitive.. but your two objects are too uncompairable. You shall want to do this with the aid of a photo Morphing software.
HERE you shall find a variaty of softwares that can fit into your demands. I have only used 'Morpheus Photo Animator' until now of those you see listed there. And have gotten very satisactory results.. but there are less expensive softwares even freewares shall you do a search.

I hope this can be of some use to you
