Maya Main Menu

My Main Menu has disapeared, and i dont know how to bring it back up, i tried going through all the UI display functions, but it isnt thre, does anyone know what to do

well in Max if you right click that area you have an option to hide or display the tool bars...maya might have a similar function.
Or the menu might have been turned into a floating bar....and is now sitting off screen....
I don`t use maya.....but mabey the maya and max functions are hopefully the same....

You can always trash your preferences again, but once you do that you must restart your computer before launching Maya. The thing that sucks about that is you have to reload any custom mel-scripts or custom settings you may have had.

Just as follows.

1. Go to your C drive

2. Go into your Documents and Settings

3. Go into your Administrator folder

4. Go into your My documents folder

5. Go into the Maya folder

6. You'll a folder that says 6.0 go into that

7. Whola there is the PREFS folder, now trash that bad boy

Also shockwave82 did you update your graphic card driver to alleviate your color picker issues. This what you have to do to correct that issue. I just had that same problem last week, and it was corrected by updating my driver.Hope this helps, and good luck.
