Classical Living Room

Hello, i have been working 3 days on this scene. It only has 1 omni yet and i am about to add some objects. It is my 2nd living room. I am really bad and inexperienced with lighting, so any tutorials or help regarding my scene, please post.
btw: i am truly sorry to the michelangelo work i assumed was fake. it was too amazing to believe.

C&C please.

Hey!! Looks cool but as you said the lighting isnt nice yet. Work on that and then it will look very cool!!
I have one suggestion. Make the lightin more softer. Put light-yellow omni there. I think that gives something to the scene. For some reason I would like to see that in yellow morning light.
And one more thing. IMO the ceiling is too high... but maybe that just me.

Edit: No... It's that door way that is too small... I think..

What program do you use?

I agree with qooq that in relation to the height of the window the door is too short. Looks great so far though.

thanks for the comments, i agree about the door. Well, i am really bad at lighting. The lighting in the moment i used is from 3dtotal's vray lighting tutorial, and it doesn't look that good. Can you please give me any useful links for vray tutorials or tips? i would very much appreciate it. (I have tried the evermotion one as well, it does not look good either)
thanks.
