Heh, I think you and Turboracer should talk to one another.

Uh, mesh itself isn't half bad....you may want to concentrate a bit more on edge loops, paticularly around the mouth. Your current mesh won't animate or deform very well.

Regarding the actual model, the jaw is way to large, and far forward. It's like Gollum is an ape, with a huge powerful jaw, when really it should be the exact opposite.

You'll hear this a lot, but it's really true, you really really need to have a good anatomy reference when doing organic creature work. I don't mean a good picture of just Gollum, but get a book that has a lot of good diagrams on skulls and the musculature structure of the human face. It'll help out enormously in the end. You really need to get an understanding of structure, since it's structure that is going to sell your model. The human body is a mechanical object with parts and pieces that all need to work and fit togther...without those, there is no life to our being.

You're work is still quite good for a beginner...take pride in what you've done so far, and really keep pushing to do more.

Red lines are the loops around the eyes, blue lines are the loops around the mouth, and the green is the aproximate shape of the skull....you can see how far forward your jaw is by comparison.

Essentially with the edge loops, you're trying to mimick the way the muscles are actually formed around the mouth and eyes and nose.
