easterling- lord of the rings
Hi,
Im modelling this character from Lord of the Ring. I just took the concept from a book and trying to make it look as detail as I can. Critics are welcome. Thanks |

Yeah, it kinda looks like he's got a big fan blowing gusts of wind inside of his clothes, cause he looks too puffed out.
Try giving the cloth some more dynamic flow to it. Take a shirt of yours, drop it on the ground, and study how the folds in the shirt react from simply falling to the groud. Look at your own clothes and how they drape off your body. Cool work so far though. the Easterlings were my favorite army designed for the films....tis a shame we didn't see too much of them.

hy there.....very nice model but i have my crits...i don't like the body proportions that ur model has....i olso don't like the fact that it's a single mesh.....because this way we can't really see all the armour layers that he has...and it olso makes his feather type armour look weird....becaue all that armour it's on the cloth not part of it as ur model seems to inspire....and ur model it's rather large keeping in mind he is a man and not an orc (but this is a minor thing)....may i ask what are those buttons on his belly (turn on/off
)?...and they don't implement very well with the area surrounding it...the face is the only part i have no crits...good work...nice model.....

Hi
thanks everybody for the critics I'm going to fix the clothes. I think it looks too large (the character) like fat. And the hips are too wide The armour and the clothes are not connected. They are different meshes. And you are not the first one on the on/off joke (haha) but the drawings that i picked are like that. Here is a new picture changing only the proportions |
