Character: Iguantus and Tuskadon
Hi,
I've start a new project which i'm very excited about. Here is some info on the characters and a few pics of my work so far. Iguantus - Once the most handsome and fearless knight of the kingdom. During her first days on earth, The Necromancer came across Iguantus and desired him to be part of her army...and her lust. Iguantus rebuffed the witch. Scorned, The Necromancer turned the handsome knight into a being, as she put it, more fitting of his name. Iguantus was turned into a creature hybrid, part human, part reptile. His mighty steed, the envy of all horseman was also transformed into a huge, hulking tusked brute named Tuskadon. C&C are welcome of course |

i was gonna say he doesnt look too handsome... kind of a play on snow white
looks cool so far, but it looks like the axe could only cut through butter! another suggestion i have is modelling the teeth seperate from the head, since with gums and teeth as seperate parts it will be easier to texture and also look more believable. One last crit that i have is that you should change the other guys name.. a large tusked creature named tuskadon... a long haired boy named long-haired one.. i dont know just sounds weird to me. but keep it up! |

Thanks for the reply sarN. I will certainly have a look at making the axe a little sharper. As for the teeth and gums I was going more for a crocodile look. As for the name of the character I don't really want to change it because these characters are part of a Spawn series which I have. Here is a pic of the characters.

Looks great...Nothing much 2 say about this..The mouth area can use little more detailes..The axe looks cool..but I dont think it will be of any use to a warrior..the blade looks dull..I dont think he will be able to kill anybody with that..Ha
Keep it up man..Hope to see more of this..

wow, very cool. Except the split tongue looks weird and the nostrils are a little too simple. Are u gonna use Zbrush with this particular model cuz I know it would be great for skin details.

<<GhosTS>>: Thanks for the reply and i'm glad you like it. I do have to agree that the axe needs some work and I will certainly take care of that soon. If you look at my last update I think you might notice a little more detail in the gums and teeth area.
Anima3d: Thanks for the reply and I'm happy you like it Ilkejav mk5: As for the split tongue I do agree it does need a little work. I modelled a split tongue because thats what an iguana has but I could seem to find a ref of their tongue. Anyways I will work on that for sure. As for the nostrils well on an iguana they are very simple like that one so I think I will leave it. I've never used Zbrush so I don't think I will be using it on this model. Thanks for the comments guys, it helps keep me motivated. |

Cool concept! looking forward to see more of this.
Nice work on the legs so far, but maybe put some more detail in the claws. More stripes and cracks to make it look less smooth. Just a suggestion Keep it up!

Hi,
Well i've worked somemore on the leg area of my character and also added a knife on left side. I've started the arms but still need lots of detail work and also the hands. Let me know what you think. |
