(3ds max 7) Newbie Wants to animate a bal

Could someone please show me step by step how to animate a sphere/geosphere? Im sort of new to 3D graphic design. I can make one piece spacecrafts, but i'm venturing out of my element to learn something new. I'm hoping that by learning on a sphere, i can apply the knowledge to other things.
