SPEEDPAINTING CHALLENGE nr. 27 - YOURSELF IN 20 YEARS

Again - sorry for delay. Graphic card problem. Painting challenges are not much o fa clockwork, eh?

OK, time for being a bit inventive . This week's challenge goes from qwed88.

We had a self-portrait challenge, and it was fun I think. Right now you are to make a self-portrait, but making you look like you were 20 years older. How to get to it - watch older people closely - the face features are important - looser skin, jaw line, wrinkles, baggies under the eyes, hair... It'll be much fun I think

RULES

Have fun.

DEADLINE - THURSDAY 21th - the next week.

Interesting comp. I think itīll be difficult to juzgue at last. So I suggest to add a little actual photo of us to see the difference.

Hmm... some people says me that I look like Geoffrey Rush (but heīs 30 year older):

RBL - Adding a photo reference to your current looks is a good idea... but it that really you? :P

A NOTE - it would be great, if you paint the portrait from the mirror, not from a photo, that you attach.

Rob - a bit pesimistic, don't you think? :P

I agree, the photo should be from a different angle than the picture you paint, just to be sure . I like the concept this time, much easier than the banner one.

Michael-3DT: I donīt understad. What did you mean with: "but it that really you? :P".

That note means that is preferable donīt use over-paintings, isnīt it?

Jabba the Hut question

I have a question

why does jabba the hut look the same in star wars I as in starwars IV, V and VI?

and that's like 30 - 40 years or so difference... they should have made him thiner when he was younger

Me

Just found out about the speed painting challenge. Perfect challenge for me to take part in.
This is me when I turn 38.
5 hours spent with pencil, paper, and some photoshop for the color.
I looked at a pic of Garry Stewart
Forgot to say that Im a portrait artist.
