Need help with Custom Comp Specs

Hi, im a student at the art institutes studying 3d, and am looking to buy a digital creation workstation from alienware, and I am also a gamer. But im having difficulty on what to buy. I was over at the forums at CGtalk and read some discussions comparing the QuadraFx series of graphics cards to the Geforece line. It seems alot of the guys over there leaned toawrds Geforce, but wouldnt the quadro be better for 3d? I wasnt able to reach a conclusion on this topic. I was also curious about processors like, AMD duel Operton compared to Intel's duel Xeon and duel core technology, and is clockspeed important for 3d or just gaming? Everyone at the forums I've posted on has told me that I should build my own computer, but I lack the knowledge and resouces to do so, that is why i am relying on a company like alienware, plus if anything goes wrong with it I can get it fixed for next to nothing. Anyway, Here are the specs of three different computers I was looking at. The first 2 are the 3d workstations, and the third one has duel Geoforce 7800 GTX using Intels 3.2 ghz duel core technology. I was leaning towards the duel xeon system, but before I make the investment I would like some feedback. Any help would be deeply appreciated. THanks.
