Photography: places and things - Page 4

Well, I tried my hardest in the darkroom to get something out of this poor negative (next time I'll make a better judgement from the meter then using an auto setting). The original was way overexposed - I think the camera set the shutter at something like 1/250 even though the scene was very bright - I normally use manual, but I didn't want to mess up the shot - well, guess what...

anyway, here's the pic...

I see that it's got some techincal flaws, but I still think this one is more fun to look at than the previous one
Feels as if there's much more action here. Though you did get great motionblur in the last one!

I'm glad DigitalPutty brought this thread up. I've never noticed it before and I have to say I missed a lot of great work. Some of the photos are simply beautiful. It's a pity that noyb doesn't continue with this thread anymore

I actually stopped posting here because I didn't have much to post. I had foot surgery and couldn't walk/drive for nearly 6 months... so, I didn't take any photos.

But I will start posting here again
I may have some photos that I can post here later today.

This seems to be all I could find on my computer... Same race as the pics before, but 1 year later...

I'll check and see if I can find any prints that I can scan in.

Here are a couple from about 2 years ago. I hope to take some more pics very soon. I have several b&w film prints and negatives, but I'm just too lazy to scan them in on my low quality scanner

. These are digital with cheap(ish) Kodak.
