Just a reminder that threedy's the best...

I just got off the line with the ALL NEW cgsociety.org, and they haven't changed much besides their name. It bothers me that the mods there can be so out of touch with things going on in thier own forums. I just saw people yelling, and cursing, and calling each other names like a band of vagabonds, without help or hamper from the mods. Then, some of the silliest things get locked down like they're the plague (probably not independant of the fact that they were new users). I just don't understand those people and their frequent elitist hob-nobery.

And I was cruising around, disgusted, when I realized "Hey! This isn't my stomping ground anyway! I'm going back to Threedy." And I did, and here I am.

Thanks for being awesome,

I totally agree with you Guy BlueSummers! I've checked out several other 3D and art related forums and none seem to be as good as Threedy. The mod's at Threedy actually care about helping others out and just generally being nice people. People join forums to get feedback. I've found that the members of Threedy have been some of the nicest people in the way that they are able to give good criticisms and comments without sounding like they think your work isn't at par. Members of the other forums need to understand that there are a wide range of people that do 3D and newbies and pros alike need and respect motivational C&C. I applaud you, the members and mods of Threedy, for being respectful of everyones work and for giving inspiration and motivation to everyone who does CG professionally or aspires to do so.

That's just my 2 cents for the day.
