Hanger bay 1

This was a two week asignment for school. It was mostly for textures. I am including the finished or almost finished and the light setup. I had to delete most of the lights so it would render in time to finish. I havee been to busy to really post anything lately.

I really like the all-white one, i think the textures on the other one are clashing a little and too dark.

The design is very nice though, I wonder what the ship looks like

Nice, but I agree about the lighting, the earth has too much specular methinks, and there needs to be more cargo bay lighting! Where are the spinny round orange flashy lights that are so famous in these scenes? Nice work so far, keep at it and you'll end up with a very nice space feel indeed.

I just typed a long reply and lost the whole thing. Thanks blackwolf. The colors are ment to clash. It is a complimentary color scheme of blue and orange.

Instinst, all my lights have crashed the schene so it will not render with them in there. I will get it working but untill then the caution lights will also be to much.

Thanks Novak.

the problem with the earth lighting is that it seems you put the sun in FRONT of the earth according to the reflexion...
