lightsaber

Hi people i am a biginner or 3D modeling

this is a lightsaber model i did. but i don't know how to make the light part grow light
haha!

hm...from what i can see, your saber (the handle) looks quite good, is it your own design? Though i would start working on some of the textures . About the glow, pls tell us what application you are using, would help us alot to explain how you could achieve it

the "wings" (that ones on the sides of the laser) remind me a pod racer! hahaha ..

2 pointouts .. the green ball in the handle has an a odd shader i think its just opacity .. you have to put some reflection and stuff in it! .. and the "rubber/leather" thing on the handle (where you grip) has a metal shader.

that is it ! keep detailing and most important learning ..
