My client are currently looking to hire an incredibly talented environment artist to work on their forthcoming highly anticipated AAA PS3 martial arts action adventure title?
There are a number of roles in which the Environment Artist may specialise. These range from working closely with design in level development to environmental modelling or specialising in the destruction of environmental elements. Professional games industry experience is absolutely essential. The successful candidate must have worked on a least one major released console title. Strong understanding of real-time modelling constraints, Must be familiar realistic and organic environment modelling, Deep knowledge of Maya modelling/animation is a plus but experience with other 3D packages is acceptable. Good knowledge of current generation techniques is a big plus (ambient occlusion, surface information extraction). Strong team player and excellent communication skills.
