Max 7: Anyone Know How To Make A Number Counter???
Hey everybody! Wondering if anyone knows how to make a number counter that rapidly counts from 0 to 3 million or that is parametrically programmable for that matter for any number. I need it to go for 20 seconds and am not sure if there is a simple way to do this in either max or After effects!!! Anyhelp is appreciated!

a digital counter! hmmm... how do i describe this? Like if you were listing the number of people who died from suffocating due to their head being up their ass and the number started as a line of zeros at the bottom of the screen and then as different things were happening in the background (political elections, etc...) the numbers rapidly increased racing up to three million or whatever but it's still stationary at the bottom of the screen while each digit rapidly rolls up to the next number!
000,000,000,000 next: 000,000,000,001 20 seconds later: 030,000,000,000 You got an idea on this? Because I am: ![]() |

I remember a simple script that does this one, something like count***..
don't remember the name.. I'm going to search for this one.. you could use the Text from Max and actually do a counter playing with the timeline and set seconds/milliseconds/etc.. or simply displaying the frame number etc.. |

There was this plug-in exactly for this sort of thing. I think it was somewhere on www.maxplugins.de ... Look for it there, they're all free.

Exactly.
I installed it, but didn't really find a use for it. Well, this is just what's needed here.
