Audi A3

Hello guys , i had the tutorial from 3D palace for age's on my pc and since modelling my skyline didn't go well i started with the tutorial.
So far i've only worked a few hours on it and i've done the rough shape and modelt (not detailed ) the front.
Allso i think that this is the first project am gonna finish

Allso i tryed making the rims with the discbrake (thx mayhemation for great tutorial) only i don't know a real good material for on the discbrake , suggestions would be cool.

Its probally gonna take a while since am completing this project because tomorrow school starts again and saturday ill be going with my dad to a airshow in koksijde / belgium.

Anyway here are the renders ,
c&c are allways welcome ofcourse.

The rims :
(renderd with vray and beach probe in the enviroment)
(allso i might draw my own profile on the tire since i can't use allways mayhemation's one if anywone has some great pics of sport tires, plz send em to me or post em here)

and a wire of the rims :

and my progress of the Audi A3 so far (still got alot to do )
can't show you a smoothed already since i need to chamfer some edges and then maybe i can't follow the tutorial perfectly.

A unsmoothed clay :

and a wire :

so far the car has 408 polygon's.

Cheers , Eagle

looks good,... except the ridges in the rotor texture should go in a circular pattern around the rotor. look at the texture to see what I mean. also, consider turning that texture into a bump map and give it a small (VERY SMALL) bump factor. After looking at the rotors on my truck, you would notice that the surface is not perfectly smooth, but has small ridges.

Hope that helps.
