snow and rain

i need help on figuring out how to make snow or rain in 3ds max a tutorial on some random website would be fine also

snow or blizzard particle system

Either one will work well as snow or rain, depending on how you set them up. The difference between the two is that blizzard offers more advanced features. Look in the 3dmax help file for the particulars on how to control either one.
