Hi!
Very very thanks guys for your comments about my work, you really help me to advance my work, thanks a lot BuffDaddy81, chainface, Track_Maniac for support me with your effective comments, you encourage me to do another work this week , thanks.

. . .

SpinningOlates – I like this light effect, it’s a nice idea, I love it(mean antilight or backlight or …, I don’t know what’s his name but its about seen character through shadow and a strong light on back!), I like to use it in one entry, Thanks for the inspiration!

Babbo – very nice artistic work, I love weird, shady feel of this image, I think it seems like a visual story, with really and acceptable characters that can be imagined, thanks a lot.

Blaint – nice another troll under bridge, nice too. I love coloring so, especially volume light fx under the bridge is a nice light fx, I think the troll shampoo is very under focus than it must be! Maybe for difference and sharp colors than other part colors although I think you want it to be on focus!, anyway is a great entry.

. . .

Best regards. M.Armand.

Lightbulb second work

Hi, oh no new entry since my last entry after tow days! Not believable!
I draw 3 entries today just to give your comments & critics, please don’t divest me from it, specially critics & suggestions are very welcomed, thanx to all of you. “mim.Armand”

This is second work from me this week; I draw it on a colored paper and all done by hand, just a human outline (for size comparisons) & a few colorcorections done by Photoshop, all of hand works take almost 25 or 30 minutes.
Oh, I forgot to say that its idea catch from an old east myth, the name of this character on that myth is zahhak, however this is not right similar to that character, just some features is applied, thanks.

Lightbulb Third work this week

Third entry from me this week, please give me your useful comments about these, thanks.

This is also created on a colored paper (a wonky yellow), all done by hand, too expect of human outline (for scale comparisons) and a few color corrections that made in Photoshop, completed in about 35 minutes I think, or a bit less than this.
This is a comic crazy troll I think too!

Lightbulb Fourth work and last this week(presumably!)

Fourth entry or non entry this week and last from me (presumably!)

I say non entry because I don’t sure I can call it troll, I don’t know, therefore call it non entry!! , it took me around 5 minutes to draw by ink-brush & about 15” to coloring with Photoshop; it’s a too big snail. You can see two human in button to compare! Please don’t forget to say deficiencies & suggestions to improve them.
thanx a lot, “mim.Armand”.

MIM! THAT SECOND LAST ONE YOU POSTED IS AWESOME!!!

It's so good in that it's really simple, but I like it because of the style. Keep up the good work like that.

MIM - Have to Agree with Track_Maniac that your second last one is the best, i like your style as its defo different from everyone else. I like the bright colours and the paint effects - nice work. Again your images look like they should be on a poster or a T-shirt. Although like I said before i like your work I would love to see you spend a bit more time and try some different styles, just to see what you can come up with, it can be easy to stick to a style you know and love - i should know ive been drawing cartoons for years, but Ive started to experiment and its helping me develop my work, a lot of the images i come up with are rubbish, but its really good practice - just something I think you should try, and I would like to see!

quite a departure form the previous image i posted, but they were done really fast and i was just focusing on a character as opposed to a setting or a mood.

have to agree mim, i like your second one more.

blain_t very cool, though your troll is the only one with a heavy outline, why? Love the character on the bridge and the rocks, very well done.

just a question, but doesnt anything that takes over an hour fall outside the range of 'speed painting'?
