Jivanta is a rapidly growing art and engineering game services company based in Bangalore. The talented team is looking for an overseas technical art director with an adventurous mindset to guide the team to the next level through a combination of remote and on-site interaction. The activities will include enhancing the demo reel, guiding the team on client tests and projects, and possibly working on a game prototype. The primary requirement is game-specific low and high poly character and set modeling and texturing expertise, preferably in 3D Studio Max or Maya. The candidate must have shipped at least two 3D titles as an artist contributor. Bonus skills are character design, console experience and knowledge of next-generation techniques. Good teaching and communication ability is critical to making the experience a success. This contract could later lead to an exciting long-term opportunity with a hot startup.
