hi there ... this is the last thing I've done wtih Max7 ... its smthng simple I know .... but am realy glad cuz I was looking for a good way to make a glass material with Vray... so the guys at the Help section gave me some good tut and here is the result ....so what do u think

looks good
just a few things to note,the glass on the side is floating.....quite a bit actually...and the liquid ring is too sharp,liquid will actually creep up the side of the glass a bit, but good overall |

Lorenzo, there was a thread somewhere that mentioned modelling a meniscus. I'm yet to see anyone even attempt it. I tried once, and you couldn't even tell...so I'm not sure it matters.
As for the photo, looks good, but needs more samples in the render so that we can really see the glass test at work.

Lorenzo Maggi, to me it looks like the glass is in mid bounce...I might be wrong, but with that much space, it looks intentional. I do think however, the ground is too reflective...that needs to b toned down a little - And the liquid comment is tru too.
