[3ds max 6] Viewport Problem
Why does this look all messed up? I've tried all graphic modes and it looks the same.

Anyone? This also happens when I make a eye and put it in a head. When I rotate it (or sometimes just let it set still), the eye socket doesn't seem to cover the eye (except what is supposed to be showing). It looks very similar to the pic above.

It's still the same. When i dumped the memory, The number, 5849332 came up. Here is another example below. I'm wondering if it's a setting or something because I opened up a ver high poly (200,000) model of the predator with about 60+ parts and rotated it and all and it did not have anything that did this. Everything fit perfectly. I just recently noticed this because all the things I used to model have been single objects.

Well you might want to try updating or rolling back your video card driver. What video card are you using anyway?

I figured it out. It's my video card. My friend brought his pc yeterday. while he was here i tried it on his. He had his set to software when i first tried it and the same thing happened. i then set it to open gl and it worked fine. i guess its a good thing i'm getting a brand new pc in a week or two. I have a prebuilt HP that is about 4 years old. Soon ill have a geforce 7800 gtx

Check your scene scale. if it's really big or really small the viewports might get screwed up like that. try to scale your objects around 50x smaller and see if that helps.
