don't get huge ideas to make projects that you don't have the skill for yet or not nearly enough time to complete

You will only get out what you put in. Spend a lot of time on your projects, Later you will learn what area you enjoy. The piece of paper will not get you a job but your demo reel will. School is the oppertunity to learn how to make that reel. Have patience and be careful of partying to much. The loans will have to be paid back unless you are lucky enought to have parents that are helping you.

Don't listen to him, 'O' unlocks a modeling mode so advanced that it's conducted solely with box-frames.

heh right on. well i'll be going to the Toronto Film school downtown. The projects look like alot of fun. We're gonna be learning how to use Maya 7, Shake, and Photoshop. The majority of students that do well at the school land jobs without a problem. One of the students got hired by Silicon Knights in Kitchner.

Good luck with your studies...

Although as far as I know Maya has no ultra box-frame mode.
