Nice model, is she meant to be bald or is her hair white? How many poly's?
Perhaps a wireframe shot or 2 would b good

looking nice, i think you could push more outta ya textures if you start accentuating areas. ripped fabric, scratched metal, scuff marks on the boots, maybe some freckles or a mole on her face... this sort of attention to detail does not go un-noticed and from the looks of things you know what you are doing... anyways keep up the good work

If you're using adobe photoshop, make a layer, color all with gray (128,128,128), set layer to overlay, add noise effect, then gaussian blur...

If you're using 3dsmax, make all lights unlit, add a skylight, then "render to texture" it... Add it to the main texture... (layer multiply/linear burn)

Just some tips... Nice model and texture anyway (except for the bald design...)

that sounds really interesting, but I'm just curious the steps you suggested using photoshop, what exactly does it do to the texture?

thanks

the face seems a bit too plain for my taste, little details that gets your style going would make the model 100% better.

@RE3456: It simply makes the plain parts don't look plain that much... And it makes the detailed parts slightly more detailed. (Since it trickd the eyes of the viewers)

You should add some colours: dirt, corrosion, logos, camouflage etc.

one thing that is bothering me besides head detail is that in the screenshot she seems cross eyed, maybe adjust the model a bit :P another thing, she seems to be in a somesort of army right ? why the lipstick like lips ? i mean if she shaved her head like in the army why lipstick :P appart from that i think that the texture is in the right track, remember that detail is key, but dont force the key too much or it will break

The slightly crosseyed thing is very subtle and changes slightly by the angle you view it at, I might tweak the mesh to see if I can sort it out...

She's a wastelander, kinda like mad max where they live out in the desert and use junk etc but I wanted to paint a basic skin so we can do variations etc

Thanks for your comments!

hi psionic, long time no see. ( i used to work on some stuff for Binary People a few years ago).

the texture looks cool, bits i would change...on the face i would add more freckles n stuff (as the others say.) the cheakbones seem a little too highlighted (may just be the lighting) makes her look more like a model than a wastelander.

also that bit on the ****** looks a bit odd may be better just to go with buttons or something.

love the vest tho te job on that is awesome.......any way see ya ;0)
