Hi,
Thanks for that. My intention is to do the whole car...this may well be a long job! The wheels took ages, as I had to get them dimensionally perfect and I only got the programme a couple of months ago. Started on the chassis rails the other day, pics below: |

Forgot.
The car is pretty old so a lot of people probably won't know what it looks like, so pictures of the whole car are here: http://members.fortunecity.com/freec..._veyron_02.jpg http://members.fortunecity.com/freec..._veyron_07.jpg http://members.fortunecity.com/freec..._veyron_06.jpg http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C00427 |

lol yh i did hav to check out the car to see wot it looked like!
modelin a car is a big undertakin esp for a first model. however there r some gr8 tutorials online that will help (esp the fiat 500 in 3dtotal). i hav to admit my 1st car model was pretty rubbish, but im startin to get the hang of it now that ive modeled (well, i dont finish many!) a few. all i can say is stick with it, look at other car tutorials and ask for advice from forums. dont get downhearted if u dont get many replies, there's always some1 who will help. so basically good luck with it and i look forward to c how u progress. r u usin blueprints? cos they help loads. as do lots and lots and lots of reference images from all angles. |

Ah, finaly, something different... I'm tired of all those supras, skylines, etc...
Good start. I also got the program a few (7) months ago, so I'll be watching this one, might just learn something. Well the one advice I can give you is: don't hurry up on anything! Not even the simplest things, details are everything! Good luck and modell on... |

Hi,
If you could send the tuts that would really be appreciated. With the Decal, the options applicable are planar or spherical. I have made a mask and used the Adobe CS2 magnetic lasso to make the badge. I now need to drape it over the surface..then it gets confusing...any tips appreciated. The instructions are confusing (to me). Jpeg of the badge and screen print of the surface below. Probably simply, but I bloomin well can't do it at the mo! ![]() |
