Car modelling help needed - Maya

Hi im making my first car to add to a scene ive done, as i couldnt find a premade model (sierra Rs Cosworth 3door).
Ive not made a car before, but so far ive made the car in curves and used the boundry tool to make pannels, next step would be to line up the pannels as they arent perfectly lines up even though made from the same curves, which i have started to do but finding extreemly hard, and then using edit nurbs>attatch surfaces (blend) which is giving me strange shapes sometimes. Basically im looking for someone who can give me a bit of their time to look over my scene and give a bit of help, or someone with a pre madel sierra cosworth model for sale
or if someones feeling very generous to make me one- no? thought not lol.

Cheers people
Ian

ok ive managed to get to what i think its an ok stage. so i dont need anyone to look at the modelling as it seems to have come together today, and made more progress than i could get to before.
but im still having problems with attatching surfaces, when i do it its giving strange shapes, ie not the ones ive modelled, its filling in gaps, which i requie to be left there.
Any help appriciated as i say its the first car ive attempted.

Thanks
Ian
