I need some help on gun details like saftey switchs and stuff to fill in gaps on the side of my gatling gun. It's kind of plain. any tuts that would help?
I did this Pic about a year and a half ago. So don't try to smash my pride. It is just to give an Idea of what I am going to do. |

you could draw them in photoshop and then use the maps on the model. you could actually model the switches and stuff, which would give you better results.
its hard to find a tutorial that teaches you to observe the detail. look at blueprints or pictures of other miniguns. figure out how it works. why is that switch there? what does it do? you shouldnt model something you dont understand, ever. look it up, or find better references. just for a little tip on how to go about modelling those pieces. you clearly know how to bevel. you can set the bevel height to 0 and then it will inset it to the mesh. use that for the small details. |

things you should add:
temp gauge ammo handle that should make it complete and you should also add a better sight as the one youve got there isnt very good.
