I only painted over a few of your tower just to give you a quick ideea. I desaturated A LOT your image. The sunlight is not that yellow you know. Even with the special kind of sunset is more of a warm goldish light. Also, I would suggest you use some texture brushes for the walls. Hope my input helps.

mim: maybe I'm late, but I don't think you have to reinstall windows. You can try to use another webbrowser first.

Arrow you really help Avatar-3DT :0)

Avatar-3DT- thanks man you really help me, and please accept my appreciates for efforts to do that nice guide pic, I agree with you and let me say that the original work is not over in color tint like you see, I just increase saturation when I optimize it to web! (I don’t know what?!!!), although I like this specially look or better to say cartoony look colors; I learn many things by your guide pic, also find my mistakes as in lighting and shadows, thanks again for it; about texture brushes, I’m not familiar good to it but in CP but I make a try to that, thanks.

Flou- nice, I try it, thanks for kind words, cya.

Nippur- thanks man, I did reinstall it; but I plane to change my browser as you say; oh man, I see your locomotive project, you are really a strong modeler, Cya.

I upload after a few hours, I am working on a project for my com, now.

Thanks all, mim.Armand.

Forgot you use Painter. Even better. Use bristle brushes to have that harsh look along walls. I'm glad I could help. Good luck.

Hmmm, I think this new update is quite good, much better looking than the past ones have been(although I just looked a few pages back). I do agree that you've gone overboard on the black. I think instead of black you should be using a medium gradiant of blue over the base wall color. The reason you would use the blue is to simulate the bouncing of light rays off of oxygen particles (this is why the sky is blue). All outside diffuse situations are like this, of course. It also definately wouldn't be as dark as you have it.

Keep going on it!

Loosk good...the crit about coloring that I have is that. The black seems extreme also. Is the scene a sunset? What time of day is it? THe sun seems to be on the horizon.

Don't ever use black. Use a darker sample of your base color for the walls. Turboracer is right about the bounce color. You could use that on the darker side as a rim on the roofs and the top places of the battlements. Also, after you finish, on a new layer, with a soft brush set a soft, warm color (a light orange would do good) to simulate distance and the haze in the air. This will help you create depth.

Arrow a new style!!! {:(

Ok it is my next style I’m going by. Excuse me, but I can’t work on pre style at all, maybe I complete it in future; it really tired me ( no for many time working on, but just I’m not sure what to do and how to do!), anyway hope I reach to deadline by that.
And about new style, must say it is a cartoony one, you see just the step one and castle drawn on it, I draw it in to steps (and tow page) because my scanner is A4, I just paint this one now, but would draw next step in afew hours future ( I work on it same time by other projects in my hand in company!), hope you like it.

Turboracer, jdgill, Avatar-3DT, abbasi, so so thanks for your usfull comments , critics and suggestions, you help me really to advance some steps in my experiences, I really learn from your -& other guys- replies, hope you like this new style and guide me again, soso thanx again.

oh forgot to say it take me about 20 minutes to draw it, and by hand.
