Hey ppl
I am really big fan of the battletoads off of nes, sega, and super nintendo and I would eventually like to model then animate them. And I was wondering if anyone might have some good (non-pixelated) reference pictures of them like the one below... My favorite is Pimple(center) then Rash(Left) then Zittz(right) |

Hey Lazerus I have loved battletoads since I was able to grasp a controller...As for 3d animation our highschool offers it as a computer course. I am in my 2nd year (11th grade) of it my teacher can hardly find the modifier menu so everything I have learned has been self taught. And I am very happy to say I am one of the top 5 in the school and plan to do this as a career

I remember battletoads. Only played one game andthat was for gameboy (and im only 14).. oh man, hours of fun.
As far as modeling these guys, I would have to tell you to attempt to box model it. Because from what I can remember, andform the picture above, they are basically human shaped/with a little bit of toad in them. Sorry I cant be much of a help . |

Lazerus: it wouldn't let me add you to yahoo or msn
rmxp: this is true but I am not very good at modeling muscles and for that matter...people I believe everyone should play battletoads at least once...I have gotten very close to the end of the game and I am eagerly awaiting battletoads in 3d. Xbox owns the company that made battletoads. |

hey I just had a great idea! you could get a battletoads Rom and screen capture any image from it that you would like, how could there be a greater refrence then that.....lol hope that helps.
also I only have AOL IM maby I should get MSN oh about the not being good at modeling people.... if my Roms screencapture works you could take the images and insert them in the view ports as a traceable refrence if you don't already know how to do that it's (ALT + B) Last edited by lazerus8102; 15-03-2006 at 09:50 PM.. |
