Hellooooo Black, Fastrack, Andy, Diablos, Marty Mcfly, And All ! Its Been Awhile Since I Last Posted Here.... Glad To Be Back For This.... This Is A Stairway Id Made In 3ds Max 8 ... Experimenting With Mental Ray, Daylight, And Final Gather ... Pls Crit And Comment .

This is cool. I love the quality of light. The background image looks a litte funny to me. It seems much more blown out than the foreground, although it IS outside. Maybe too much in focus, it is very sharp. Not sure about the lens flare...be careful with those.

It a nice overall scene,but if i was you i would replace that background image with another much better or i would make a wall & a glass window

Nice to see you back, come back over to the speed challenge if you have time

. Just thought of you the other day, I was loading my iPod with my cd collection and was adding all of my Alice in Chains and our conversation about Staley popped in my head............random thoughtssssss.

BTW: Nice render, you have some photons gathering in the upper part of the stairs, in Maya we have to add the min | max values of the scene size to avoid this type of gathering

Diabolos: Hey man... how you been ? Yeah Alice in Chains still stuck in my vein....thats the name of my new band by the way " VEIN " . The photon gather huh ? i donno, still figuring it out in max...sorry, really cant find time to update it. Hope all is well in the SMC Sector... Good Luck with everythin... later.

Dreamcast: Thanks, do you know how to remove that photon gather up there ? Help if you work on max.

pleasent: I agree, but it kinda looks right on a higher res which i couldnt post up here. Thanks for the comment... and if you use max, lemme know about the photon gather adjustment.
