physique isnt used anymore, use "skin" instead, read some tutorials . i kno a guy who wrote a tutorial that made me understand how to rig. ill try to find it !

That'd be great. Skin's got neat points, but so does Physique. I'm not sure which to use. The shoulders work great on skin, but lousy on physique. Joints are just fine in physique, but my knees are crud in skin. I dunno...
But hey, my skinning's going great. When I finish the arm, I'll show ya'll

I have plenty of tutorials on using skin, but also on physique. my teacher showed us to use physique so I was trying to use that.
my problem is, that the modifier Physique doesnt work at ALL unless i make all the bones "floating", it won't attach and initialize correctly, it's really aggrovating. I guess I'll just make one thats "skinned" and texture it in the meantime, and if its ok with him cool, but if not I'll redo the physique on tuesday then. |

Physique won't find my guy's head. That's gonna have to change. I mean, yeah, I can't find my head either, but Max oughtta be able to find my model's head...

also I fixed my problem with physique. Apparently using a Prop in the structure wouldn't let it attach to the body. oh well. no sword for her. but I got it working now! but its harder than I thought to get it right.. ![]() |

hm...his hands are messed up and his face is still looking inhuman..did you use reference?

Yeah. I can't figure out the hands. I haven't hardly changed them either... Why'd you tell me now? :P
As far as the face, I'm a loser on faces, I'll get you a profile view of his face, that'll let you see it better.

Turns out I was rigging for something way more low poly than what I had.
Did it right and it took less than 10 minutes. Woot. Next couple days are exclusivly texturing. And they need to be >< |

![]() ![]() Argh, this is getting old... I'm starting to dislike this model. His waist is what ticks me off. "Relaxed-like" is driving me crazy. I don't like that. And I'm debating whether or not to just wipe off the hands and do new ones. I've never been truly happy with these ones, and they cause trouble in animation anyways.
