Thanks for advice, and much more for the link. When i draw concept (page 23 ) i thought that wings will be some kind of weapon, but not the vehicle But, i think, that i use some details from that guy.

andrei313 Thanks. I thought about your advice. May be I will change the nose but i want to keep it simple anime-like form. And about folds: i want to do it by normal-maps. You think that in this occasion low-poly model need changes?

dark_maggot No, i'm not confused. But as i said to BiG ToE-3DT this is not wings for the fly. So they need not many feathers.
I spend many polys for it because i have many free polygons and i m not good digital painter - it easer to me, to draw 1-3 feather separate and use this texture to all feathers.

Even if you are useing normal maps for the folds in the clothes I think you should model some and use the normal map for more detail... I don't know how you will get the curved folds at the bottom useing just normal map... I'm not an expert in normal mapping so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about

Just go to any search engine, type in dragons, or dinosaurs, or snakes or lizards. or something. Then click on the image tab and look around.

Haven't been on this thread for awhile, good to see people still progressing.

bbox - Textures looking good so far, a bit too much pink, not final i know. Keep up the good work people.

Hi all...This Will be my Final Entry for this contest. Thanks all for comments and suggestions. I tried fallow all the suggestions, but it´s so hard in some times do all people happy. My last improvimments was in Facial expression of Sephiroth... I tried do a "BAD guy" face. Mainly in his eyes.

gaetan I would check out some Dungeons&Dragons Monster Manual books. These are books that you can probably find at Borders book store. You can also look online for that subject. There is plenty of stuff on the web. I am sure if you just do dragons as a search you can get plenty of pics of stuff. Or look up fantasy creatures or something like that. With mine I looked at all kinds of stuff like that then I add in my own flavor by adding extra limbs. In my original drawing my character has the secon set of limbs hands on the knees, I know its hard to see that, but they are there. Well anyways that should help alot. Have fun. Peace!

Note to everyone, post all work in progress in here, then when the final "Call For Entry's" thread is made, just post your "Final Pose" That's one picture, and only one picture. You can have as many poses from your character in that picture as you like, but simple is better.
