Question Chrome in V-Ray

Hello everyone!I have a question about V-Ray.How do I create chromed metal in V-Ray.Thanks beforehand!!!

Hi Chichikov. If you go to the tutorials section at www.aversis.be you can learn alot about VRay materials and rendering/lighting techniques. During one of the tutorials you can find a recipe for a chrome-material. Best Wishes, Antievo.

Here's a nice way to get chromed metal in VRay:
1- In Diffuse, choose Falloff. From black to light grey, Perpendicular/Parallel.
2- In Reflection, place VRayMap with 80% reflection
That's it.
Notice i did not use VRayMtl. If this was chosen instead of Standard Material, same Falloff as above and reflection at a very light grey (meaning high reflectiveness).
You can set Glossy reflections, but be prepared for long rendertimes.
