i am in need of some help i am texturing some parts at the moment. i am using the snapshot size of 1024 and taking it into photoshop. when i shrink textures down to the right size to fit nicely on the snapshot the texture im shrinking goes all fuzzy and pixelated. also when i zoom in to do fine details the brush paints all pixelly. how do i fix this. please help.

Looking nice Sharpo, thats a Maya render if im not mistaken?
Im not too sure i understand your prob, but if you are saying when you zoom in (ie closer to the plane that the picture is on) then it will become more blured and lower quality. I am in the process of building a track(well its half done and now im workin on something elese). The problem I have is my texture file is like 5,000 x 4,000 but is still not high enough quality when you are in first person camera going along the track, and photoshop is sooooo slow. Ok with you if i post a pic on your thread?

that is pretty much what i was trying to say yeah the texture file size has to be massive to get the quality. yeah man no problem posting a picture go for it.
