The newly formed School of Film, Music and Media is a priority development area for the University and in september 2006 a new Facilities Building will be opened with substantial resources. This exciting scheme, as it unfolds, will offer significant support for the growth of the study of film, music and media at the University. Due to this expansion we are seeking energetic and enthusiastic specialist staff to join our team.
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Games Art
Salary: £25,600 - £38,700 pa
You should have extensive experience in the 3D Games Industry as artist/technical artist/lead artist and have completed work on at least two 3D games.
Experience of different consoles/PC games engines, shader writing, in-game scripting and level editing would be desirable.
