qais - not mad model, are you aware of the blue tinge, was that intentional.
Also please read the rules, as marty has stated that the phone needs to be modelled aswell. You'll be ok, as you have stated in your entry you're only 20 mins into it, so you've got a good 40 mins to make the phone and re-submit ![]() Sorry didn't want to upset or knitpick. Kind Regards Classic Gamer

Ok, here is my first try in speedmodeling ever. I have done a quite simple model, But wanted to show it anyway. It's a swedish phonebooth from the 80ths i think.

Classic Gamer - 3D Phone Booth Entry #01
Ok, this is my first entry for this week.
Modelled In Cinema 4D Modelling Time: the full hour (ONLY JUST!!!) 59 mins and 40 secs according to my stopwatch ![]() everything else is on the render, the texturing took 5 hours, but it was worth it ![]() I'm not happy with the phone receiver, it's harder than i thought to model the molded look of the receiver. Kind Regards Classic Gamer

Good job CG, I really like the detail on the phone, very nice.
As for the floor question, not always, no. Most of the time ones like that are on the sidewalk, or somewhere else where they'd have a concrete base, so they don't have a floor. The ones where the walls reach all the way down to the ground usually have a floor though, and are completely enclosed. |

thanks, regarding the floor issue, this reference picture that i used shows it has a floor, but it's a concrete plinth, usually this type is as derek said on a pavement or something, but i placed it on the grass verge which i textured myself.
also i ran out of time to model the concrete plinth. but yes it should have a plinth of concrete floor, but i ran out of time ![]() Kind Regards Classic Gamer
