Tropic Forest
Im going to make a "scene" called tropic forest in unreal editor.
as this is old software please dont expect much from it. This map will also be made for online unreal playing, for infiltration. I dont know much about unreal editor, and new to making 3d maps. I have made the sky box. This is what i have currently been working on. this is some cube wich defines the sky sight, if you walk around the map the sky will stay the same. I made 2 moving layers so the sky has some depth and looks like a sky. The sky box has some plain ground and wall texture but that will be xifed along with the map's mountains. here are some images. for you. |

what version of Unreal are you working on ?

thanks, i made a torch for my underround passage. i will make a torch for the forest when i make the forest.

now on to the actual map. this is the very beginning, the cilinder will be made for the water flow.

completed the basic water, detail will be added later, waterfall, fishies, plants etc.

i am just wondering why you dont use a newer version of Unreal, you can get UT2004 for next to nothing nowerdays and the editor and tools are much better.
