Question MentalRay jagged edges

I am just starting to use mentalray, and I'm having a problem with edges of objects. When the edge is at an angle, it shows it in little seperate lines (like in the pic). Is there any way I can smoothen the edges?

thnx

Although I cannot tell because the image is too small, I think it's probably because of the sampling. (I had that problem too for a bit). To fix this (I belive you are using Max), in the Render Window select the renderer tab. You'll see default min as 1/4 and max as 1 (or 4). Change it to min of 1 and max of 4; if that doesn't work bump it up to min 4 max 16.

Hope that helps.
